Happy Memorial Day

Julia, Dad, Grandpa A and Hope sunfish fishing..brrrrrr!
Julia helping daddy put the dock in - obviously I have the pictures posted in the wrong order! :)

We spent Memorial Day at Grandma and Grandpa A's lake cabin...brrrrr, it was cold. Daddy and Julia helped put the dock and lift in - daddy got a little wet when he filled his chest waders up with water. Woops. Hope, Julia, Grandpa A and Daddy then did a little sunfish fishing. Mom, the two grandma's and Emily stayed inside drinking hot chocolate by the fireplace. Grandpa and Grandma T were there too- which made the day extra special for the girls to have all 4 grandparents spoiling them!

Before I sign off for the night- I did want to reflect a little about Memorial Day- in part, thanks to Pastor Rob Kelley's article in the Journal. "Like a fallen soldier, Christ made the ultimate sacrifice". How true - tonight, I am so thankful for the men and women who have served our country and paid the ultimate sacrifice for my freedom, and I am so lucky and BLESSED that Jesus Christ made the Supreme Sacrifice so that you and I may live forever in the Kingdom of the Heaven. What an amazing, incredible Love He has for us!
