We had such a great weekend- Paul was able to be home most of the weekend- he finished planting on Saturday morning- YIPEEE! The girls and daddy then planted a garden - sort of (as Hopes idea of planting was to take a handful of seeds and throw them up into the air! - we may have carrots growing in the driveway - who knows!)- Mary Mary quite contrary....
I had to laugh- I asked Paul to till us a garden - a small garden. In my mind, a 5 foot by 5 foot spot would have been sufficient, since it's just a fun garden for the girls. Paul's idea was a little different....roughly an ACRE later- I walked up to the tractor and begged him to stop tilling! I guess that's what you get when you're married to a farmer.
It was really windy, but we had fun outside anyway. Any day is a fun day when dad is home! The only bummer was Hope ended up with a high temp for most of the weekend - but she was a trooper. Grandma and Grandpa T stayed with us- and Grandpa T taught Julia the art of Asparagus hunting - I'm sure glad the girls have gotten over the fact that Junior Asparagus (Veggie Tales) is an asparagus, therefore we shouldn't eat him...
