Julia's birthday party this year was supposed to be at home - bounce house, cotton candy, slushies, etc... Well, the weather had other plans for us - so with a few phone calls and Auntie Karla and Barbs help- we made a quick change and had the party at the bowling alley. It was a blast- there were about 40 people at the party - disco lights, loud music, bowling, cotton candy and cake! Happy Birthday Sweetie!

Happy Birthday Julia!!!
Happy 6th Birthday Julia!! It is SO hard to believe that you are 6 years old. In a blink of an eye, you were a tiny preemie born in the middle of the night to a beautiful, kind and loving 6 year old, going into First Grade! Where on earth has the time gone???

West Otter Tail County Fair
Our Annual trip to the West Otter Tail County Fair with the Norgrens. Allyson, Dustin and Cody joined us again at the fair. It was a little rainy the first night- but nice because it was pretty quiet- the kids could go again and again and again on the rides. I even went on the Tilt-A-Whirl....that was a BIG mistake. My equilibrium must have changed as I aged- I used to love that thing...Now, not so much. I avoided losing my lunch, but just barely. Remind me never again to attempt a spinning fair ride! The kids could have gone on that thing all night long- they had a blast.

Bumper cars- Dustin was an awesome driver, and I think Julia was a pretty good "back seat driver"!!!
Julia and Dustin went on the Farris wheel all by themselves!
We have the exact same picture from last year (in the dinosaur ride). It's fun to look back and see how much the kids change in just one year!

Happy 4th of July

OK- I'm a little late this time.....it's the 10th already. Where does summer go? We had an AWESOME 4th of July- we stayed out at Pauls mom and dads lake home and my sister Karla and husband Jim and their kids Tate and Olivia were there with us. The weather was perfect, the company was great - it was the perfect weekend! The kids spent most of their time on the slip and slide, in the pool or jumping off the dock. I LOVE SUMMER!
By the way....we had the BEST fireworks ever.....Right uncle Jimmy???
