My Little Ladies

Sisters are so special!!!!

SO- it has been quite a while since I've updated this blog - looks like before Christmas, and here we are, May 11th. Not my original intention, but with three little girls, changing jobs, going on vacation, busy farmer for a husband, etc, etc,,,, time seems to sneak away. Anyway, with the realization of how fast time goes by, I thought we better get some updated pictures of our girls - capture them in time. Before I know it - they'll be graduating - and I don't want to miss a moment. Thank you to Strom Studios for the fantastic pictures- Eric, you work magic with these little ladies! They had a blast!!!

Christmas is almost here!!!

Christmas is ALMOST here! The girls are getting really excited!!! Last night, we had Julia's Christmas program at Morning Son Christian School, last Thursday, we had Hope's Christmas program at Morning Son. These programs, reflecting on the birth of Jesus Christ really bring to light the reason for the season!
Last night- before Julia's program, Hope, Julia and I met up with my good friend Allyson and her boys, Dustin & Cody, and we went out to Johnsons north of town to see Santa Clause. It was really cold, but worth it- the display they put on is wonderful. For me, the most special part of the night was when Julia wanted to privately talk to Mrs. Johnson...what she asked her really made me think. Julia's question was "does Santa Clause believe in Jesus?"... Pretty deep for a 6 year old. I'm so proud of my girls- they really do have Jesus in their hearts!

A Great Year!

This was our first year farming up in Ada, MN - we like to call it the Adams/Narum Farms. We were nervous going into this new venture- but what we got out of it was more than we ever could have dreamed. We have formed such a close relationship with my aunt and uncle Carol and David Narum- they are like second parents to both Paul and I. Their expertise and experience were amazing- we were able to learn so much from them - and the crop year turned out tremendously well - more than we could have prayed for. Family is such a blessing! To top it off, my mom and dad have been able to be a BIG part of the farming operation this year too- I think Paul was amazed at the amount of work the "up north" farmers can get done in such a short amount of time! We're learning!

Grandpa T's truck was used most of the harvest season
Now Paul's farm runs both green and red equipment.... Green at the north end and Red down south.

Happy Birthday Emily & Hope!

This year got a little crazy at our house....Emily's 2nd Birthday fell on Thanksgiving Day, Hope's 4th Birthday is 3 days later (November 30th), we had Thanksgiving at our house and Christmas with the Adams side of the family - since Grandma and Grandpa A head to Texas for the winter December 1st. SO.....Happy Birthgivingmas everyone!!!!!

"Bonk the Wall"

As Emily will tell anyone who comes over ..... " 'mon, 'mon, I Bonk the Wall"... And bonk the wall she did! A couple of Sunday's ago- Emily was having breakfast before church in her booster, when she decided it would be a good idea to push on the table with her feet....in turn, tipping her backwards in her booster....to the point where she tipped all the way over and her head hit the wall so hard she broke through the sheet rock! Scared us to death- we thought we'd be making a trip to the E.R.....luckily, she was totally fine - scared her a bit, but in a few minutes, she was playing and happy! Gray hair number 805 - from child number 3.

7 kids under 6 years old........

Jeremiah, Selah, Karen, Christopher, Julia, Livvy (peaking behind Julia) and Emily. Where's Hope????? who knows!
Christopher and Emily......I think they will get married. Ok, now I'm going a little too far as a mom, I know that! Here's your challenge: line up 7 ants, yes ants, and get them all to stay put and smile for the camera.........Good Luck!

Check out that grin!!! What a CUTIE PIE!
Hope Lovin' Grandma T!!

A couple weekends ago- the Ouse and Adams families met at the Wahpeton Zoo for an afternoon of animal viewing! It was crazy and fun all together- we were so blessed to meet the newest Ouse's - Jeremiah and Christopher. Such BEAUTIFUL boys! The weather was nice- we encountered a few too many mosquito's, and the kids had a couple wipe outs, and quickly lost interest until we found the carousel! Next time, Karen and I decided we would just do the Carousel and head home....save the zoo for when they are a little older! :)
